Create a Halftone Image

Here is an easy way to create a halftone image in Photoshop:

First, make your image as high-contrast as you are able.

Then click: Image > Mode > Grayscale
Then click: Image > Mode > Bitmap
In the dialogue box, click Use: Halftone Screen
Then select your shape:
Round
Diamond
Ellipse
Line
Square
Cross [Hatch]

With some of the shapes (i.e. Line) you can adjust the angle.
